Jennifer Wersal
Race and Communications Manager
Jennifer Wersal serves as the race and events manager for Susan G. Komen for the Cure Greater Fort Worth. She started with the organization in 2004 as a volunteer and was hired part-time in January 2005. Wersal is responsible for all outside communication for the Affiliate, providing Web site updates and email blast and newsletter communication with constituents. She also coordinates third party events for the Affiliate and serves as the staff coordinator for Race for the Cure by assisting volunteers with operations, logistics and event management. Before joining the Komen Greater Fort Worth affiliate, Wersal worked as a marketing manager and an advertising account service manager. A graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington and a breast cancer survivor, Wersal is proud to help make a difference in the lives of other local women who are battling the disease
