To begin with, Komen Headquarters allows each affiliate to provide local support in the form of grants. Since our Affiliate's beginning in 1992, Komen Greater Fort Worth has awarded more than $17 million locally to pay for mammograms, education and treatment. 3rd Party Event Spotlight
A big THANK YOU to Bankston Chevrolet employees for donating $2500 to Komen Greater Fort Worth! The sales department wore pink for the entire month of April and donations were based on car sales.
Thanks also to the TCU Baseball team. They wore pink socks with their uniforms on May 14th to show their support for breast cancer awareness and presented Komen Greater Fort Worth with a check for $3,180! We wish them all good luck as they start on their journey to return to the College World Series. GOOD LUCK GUYS!

Grantee Spotlight Tarrant County Public Health manages the Breast Cancer Screening Program with funding from the Komen Greater Fort Worth Affiliate. Using funds through the Komen grant, they are able to screen and detect breast cancer early for more than 700 medically underserved women in Tarrant, Hood, Johnson and Parker County. Breast self exam education, mammograms and diagnostic breast procedures are provided through the grant. Learn More>>>

Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure® This November 4-6
Thousands of women and men will hit the streets for the Susan G. Komen Dallas/Fort Worth 3-Day for the Cure. Each participant raises a minimum of $2,300 and walks an average of 20 miles a day for three consecutive days. Last year, more than $7 million was raised at the Dallas/Fort Worth 3-Day for the Cure!
