Request for Application

The Request for Application (RFA) is built around the Affiliate’s Statement of Need and Funding Priorities that are established in the bi-annual Community Profile. These Grants of $10,000 or more may include screening; outreach and education; treatment; and ancillary services.

The RFA also sets the rules for applying for Komen Affiliate grants, including deliverables under the grant contract, evaluation criteria, grants structure, budget and other qualifying guidelines that must be met before the proposal is sent for review.

Workshop

There will be two Grant Writing Workshop sessions. 

The first is Wednesday, June 22, 2011, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

The second workshop will be on June 23, 2011, from 9 am to 12 noon.

Both workshops will be held in the Community Room at Ridgmar Mall, 2216 Green Oaks Road, Fort Worth,TX 76116.  Light refreshments will be served for the morning session and a light meal will be served for the evening session.
The purpose of the Grant Writing Workshop is to present an overview of the Request for Application for large grants and to address any questions applicants may have.  It is highly recommended that applicants send representatives to the workshop.
