Garden of Promise

In honor of our 20th Anniversary, Komen Greater Fort Worth Race for the Cure is proud to introduce our Garden of Promise. For a $20 donation, you can decorate a 1.5' x 1' tulip cutout to honor or memorialize someone who has been affected by breast cancer. The tulips will be displayed on the grounds of Ridmgar Mall on Race Day. You can pick up your tulip on Race Day and take it home with you or leave it to be used in future gardens. When you register, simply select the "Garden of Promise Tulip" add on at the bottom of the first screen.

If you choose to decorate your tulip yourself, you can pick the tulip up during Komen office hours. Please call in advance to make sure the office is open. 817-735-8580. Decorate your tulip and return it to the same location by Monday, April 9, 2012 to be included in the garden.

No creative bones in your body? Not a problem! We have volunteer decorators on-hand to print your message on the tulip for you and add some Komen flair to the flower as well. Simply email race@komengreaterfw.orgusing "Garden of Promise" as the Subject line and include your message in the body of the email. On Race Day, you'll find your decorated tulip among all the others.
